Thank you very sincerely, Steve.  It would have been easy to just cringe and pass on, but you took the time to correct me and spare me further embarrassment!  I have corrected all but one occurrence of the Evil Word, and that one is incorporated into a photo, which I will have to re-do when I get the time.

It is, I have to admit, a much more fascinating topic than I had imagined it would be before I started it.  I did not know much about the prehistory of Egypt before I began researching this article, and I was very pleasantly surprised.  And the material on Hierkonpolis is even more interesting!
